Salman Khan broke his silence on receiving death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang, saying his lifespan is in God's hands.

He addressed the media ahead of his film Sikandar, mentioning the inconvenience of tight security around him.

Lawrence Bishnoi is currently in Sabarmati jail, but his gang allegedly fired outside Salman’s Bandra home in April last year.

In October, a man threatened Salman and politician Zeeshan Siddique via a police helpline, demanding Rs 2 crore.

The threat mentioned they’d face the same fate as Zeeshan's father, Baba Siddique, who was shot dead in Bandra.

In November, another threat emerged demanding Rs 5 crore, with a warning to apologise over the blackbuck poaching case.

The 1997 blackbuck poaching case, involving Salman during Hum Saath – Saath Hain shooting, remains a sensitive issue for the Bishnoi community.
