Hrithik Roshan will make his directorial debut with Krrish 4, taking over the popular superhero franchise.

His father, Rakesh Roshan, who directed the first three Krrish films, has officially passed the baton to Hrithik.

Hrithik started in the film industry as an assistant director to his father on Karan Arjun at age 17.

He was deeply involved behind the scenes of his debut film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, even helping with editing.

Director Siddharth Anand called Hrithik a “closet filmmaker” and encouraged him to direct, especially during Fighter.

Hrithik directed an ad campaign for Arrow in 2023, marking his first official step behind the camera.

Rakesh Roshan confirmed Hrithik’s directorial role in Krrish 4 on Instagram, celebrating 25 years since his acting launch.
